Course Description:

As a caseworker or case aide, this one-day workshop will guide you to make the best use of psychological testing information at key decision points in a case.

Key topics for discussion include:

  • Basic components of and controversies surrounding psychological evaluations
  • Distinctions between objective and subjective approaches to assessment
  • Roles client preparation plays in psychological assessment
  • Specific psychological tests and assessment approaches used with children and adolescents
