Class Description:

This training seminar will provide caseworkers with new insight and understanding as to why they are at risk for secondary trauma and with tools and strategies they can use to protect themselves. They will learn how to differentiate between PTSD, burnout, and secondary trauma and develop strategies that address the risk factors unique to child protection work.

 

Target Audience:

Child welfare caseworkers.
