Class Description:
This day and a half training will assist foster/adoptive parents to develop strategies for parenting emotionally disturbed or challenging children. Co-trained by a foster/adoptive parent and an experienced caseworker, participants will also learn skills to cope with the stresses of parenting challenging children.
Target Audience:
Foster parents, kinship care providers, adoptive parents, and interested child welfare professionals.

4:30 pm - 9:00 pm on Friday Attendance is required on both days This training is eligible for 12 continuing training hours.
