Family Reunification

Class Description:

This two-day training focuses on decision-making and planning skills for family reunification.

Target Audience:

Intake Caseworkers, Ongoing Caseworkers, and Case Aides.

Competencies:

Assess readiness for reunification.
Develop reunification plans.
Identify practice and policy principles affecting reunification.
Plan for and monitor family visiting, and develop case plans for maintaining reunification.
Apply current research to reunification.
Identify the basic concepts of concurrent planning and how this impacts reunification planning.
Identify the impact of substance abuse on reunification interventions and timelines.
