Class Description:

This two-day training focuses on decision-making and planning skills for family reunification.

 

Target Audience:

Intake Caseworkers, Ongoing Caseworkers, and Case Aides.

 

Competencies:
  • Assess readiness for reunification.
  • Develop reunification plans.
  • Identify practice and policy principles affecting reunification.
  • Plan for and monitor family visiting, and develop case plans for maintaining reunification.
  • Apply current research to reunification.
  • Identify the basic concepts of concurrent planning and how this impacts reunification planning.
  • Identify the impact of substance abuse on reunification interventions and timelines.
