Bring your own Safety Plan to share and work on improving with the group or simply learn by helping others work on theirs in this interactive, hands-on training.

This training will allow participants to:

Discuss Colorado’s revised safety model.
Apply the safety model to a number of case studies and practice using the improved safety assessment tool.
Compare and discuss safety decisions.
Develop practices to ensure consistent application of the safety model across the state.
Explore new material from the National Association of Public Child Welfare Administrators' Framework for Safety in Child Welfare.

Target Audience:

Intake and Ongoing Child Welfare Workers, Supervisors, and Administrators.
