Class Description:

This training will assist participants to:

  • Assess and maintain a focus on safety throughout the life of a case.
  • Integrate the safety, risk and family assessments into decision-making.
  • Explain decisions about safety and risk to community partners.
  • Focus case planning on enhancing parental capacity to increase safety.

 

Target Audience:

Child Welfare Caseworkers and Supervisors.
